What We Collect
Vuleo collects limited data to run and improve the app:
- Pseudonymous usage statistics (which screens are visited, which features are used)
- Device information (device type, operating system version)
- Crash reports to help us fix bugs
- If you subscribe to Vuleo PRO and sign in, your email address — used as your account identifier to manage your subscription and unlock PRO across your devices
Account & Subscriptions
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple or Google and managed using RevenueCat, our subscription provider. By default your subscription is linked to RevenueCat under an anonymous identifier — your email address is not shared. Your email is shared with RevenueCat only if you choose to sign in with Google to enable Google Drive sync; at that point your email becomes your account identifier so your PRO subscription works across your devices. RevenueCat also receives your purchase history (which products you bought and their status). We use your email only to manage your subscription — never for marketing. RevenueCat processes this data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
If you purchase a subscription on our website, payment is handled by Stripe. In this case your purchase is tied to your email address, and both Stripe and Vuleo’s developer have access to that email to process and manage your subscription. We use it only to manage your subscription — never for marketing. Stripe processes your payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
What We Don’t Collect
We do not collect:
- Your name, phone number, or precise location
- Your playlist URLs or content
- Your viewing history
Local Data & Sync
Your playlists, favorites, watch history, and settings are stored on your device. If you turn on sync, this data is backed up to your own Google Drive account — we do not have access to it.
Optional Integrations You Configure
Vuleo can connect to third-party services that you choose to set up, such as Trakt, Stremio-compatible add-ons, debrid providers, subtitle services, and metadata services. These are disabled until you connect them, and they communicate directly from your device to the service you configured — never through our servers.
- Trakt — if you connect your Trakt account, your playback progress and watched status are sent to your own Trakt account according to your settings. Vuleo’s developer never receives this data. Trakt processes it under its own privacy policy.
- Other connected services (add-ons, debrid providers, subtitle and metadata services) receive only the requests needed to provide the feature — for example, a title search for subtitles or artwork — sent directly from your device using the account or URL you supplied.
Third Party Services
- RevenueCat — subscription management (receives your purchase history; receives your email only if you sign in with Google to enable cross-device sync)
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions purchased on our website (receives your email to process and manage your purchase)
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google) — pseudonymous usage analytics and crash reporting
- Google Drive — optional backup and sync to your own account
- Trakt — optional watch tracking and recommendations using your own account (see “Optional Integrations” above)
Each service processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
